Frond E, Palm Jumeirah
Frond E is the fifth frond on the eastern side of Palm Jumeirah, past the halfway point of the trunk towards Atlantis. Its road, Al Bumaan, runs about 1.7 km north north east to a tip roughly 1.3 km from Atlantis The Royal (EQT measurements from OpenStreetMap). It has all three original villa types: Canal Cove homes by the trunk, Garden Homes in the middle and Signature Villas towards the tip, all with beach access.
On the way up the eastern side, Frond E is where the outlook changes. Fronds A to D point broadly towards Burj Al Arab and the Jumeirah coast; E bends further north, and Propsearch's nearest attractions for it are Dolphin Bay and Aquaventure at the Atlantis end rather than The View at The Palm.
Only Frond D is longer on this side of the island, so E offers a wide spread of positions, from homes a short drive from the trunk to tip villas well out in the water.

Morning beach or evening beach
Al Bumaan heads out from the trunk at a bearing of about 31 degrees. That leaves the beaches on one side of the frond facing roughly east south east, towards the morning sun and Frond D, and those on the other side facing roughly west north west, towards Frond F and the late afternoon light.
If you use the garden mostly in the late afternoon, the west facing side gets that light; early swimmers may prefer the east. Visit both sides at the time of day you would actually be outside.
Three villa types on one frond
Because Frond E is long, it holds the full range of original Nakheel frond homes. The Canal Cove homes near the trunk are the most compact, with three or four bedrooms. Garden Homes fill the middle of the frond, and the larger Signature Villa plots sit towards the tip.
That makes E a useful frond for comparing value. A buyer can see a Garden Home and a Signature Villa on the same road, with the same gate and the same journey times, and judge what the extra plot is worth to them.

From the frond entrance, Palm Jumeirah Mall is about 1.1 km and its monorail station about 970 m in a straight line. From the tip, Atlantis The Royal is about 1.3 km, Atlantis The Palm about 2.4 km and Burj Al Arab about 4.7 km (all EQT measurements from OpenStreetMap). Propsearch gives drive times of about 17 minutes to Burj Al Arab, 21 to Dubai Mall and 39 to Al Maktoum International Airport.
