Shoreline Apartments, Palm Jumeirah
Shoreline Apartments is Nakheel's community of 20 residential buildings on the trunk of Palm Jumeirah, completed between 2004 and 2007. It holds about 2,604 apartments over 10 to 12 storeys, from one to three bedrooms plus four bedroom penthouses. Ten buildings stand on the beachfront and ten face the trunk, and residents share a private beach, block pools, gyms and clubhouses.
Shoreline is the most practical way to own on the Palm. It has the island's largest single pool of resale apartments, prices sit well below the crescent towers, and every building is a short walk from the trunk's shops, restaurants and the monorail.
Each building carries an Arabic name, such as Al Hamri, Al Das or Jash Falqa, and portals list them separately. The building, and whether it is on the beach side or the trunk side, changes the view and the price more than anything else.

Older buildings need closer checks. Before you offer, ask whether the kitchen and bathrooms have been renovated, when the air conditioning was last serviced, and what the latest service charge budget includes.
