About Zen Cluster
Zen holds the lowest building numbers in Discovery Gardens, 1 to 37, and it forms the tip of the community that points towards Ibn Battuta Mall. The Gardens station on the Red Line is roughly 600 metres from the middle of the cluster, and the mall itself is a walk or a very short drive away, which is the main reason tenants ask for Zen by name.
Owners here rarely sell. Dubai Land Department recorded only a handful of Zen resales over the past year, split between studios of about 500 sq ft and one bedroom homes close to 1,000 sq ft, while rental listings run to dozens at any one time. Studios make up roughly three quarters of the homes offered for rent, so the cluster suits single professionals and couples looking for a first Dubai address.
The cluster takes its name from Japanese Zen gardens, and its blocks are set around planted courtyards. Because Zen sits at the far end from the Pavilion retail centre, most residents shop at Ibn Battuta Mall instead, and people commuting to Dubai Marina, Jebel Ali Free Zone or Media City find the Sheikh Zayed Road entrance right on their doorstep.
