Construction of Portofino began in April 2022, and the cluster has since been handed over. It sits in the south eastern part of DAMAC Lagoons, close to Hessa Street (D61) and the Remraam community, with DAMAC Hills a short drive to the north.
DAMAC designed Portofino as the Work and Play Hub, a place where residents can take a meeting by the water and then head out on a kayak. The plan includes outdoor office pods, glass walled outdoor meeting rooms, an aqua library and waterside cafés, alongside kayaking, sailing and paddle surfing.
