About La Cote
Meraas launched La Cote in September 2018 as the opening phase of Port de La Mer, a private seaside neighbourhood built around a marina on the Jumeirah 1 coast. Construction started in 2019 and the five buildings were completed in 2021, making La Cote the first handed over part of the community.
La Cote was the first community of low rise apartments in Jumeirah offered on a freehold basis, which opened this traditional villa district to buyers of all nationalities. The homes have open plan layouts, and many look over the sea, the marina or the quiet pedestrian streets that link the buildings.
Residents share the Port de La Mer promenades, the marina and the beach, while each building has its own pool and landscaped areas. With one and two bedroom homes making up most of the stock, La Cote draws both owners who want a calm seaside address close to Downtown and investors looking for strong rental demand in central Jumeirah.
