IFA Hotels & Resorts named Balqis Residence after the Queen of Sheba and built it as the private homes of its Kingdom of Sheba resort on the West Crescent. Designed by the architects Schuster Pechtold, the project is arranged as Balqis Residence Block A, Block B and Wyndham Residences The Palm, with around 240 apartments, 28 townhouses and 34 villas making up about 300 homes.
The design draws on traditional Arabian and Yemeni architecture, with warm beige and brown facades, domes, arches, mosaic details and crowns shaped like small towers. Sitting on the Crescent with water on both sides, the homes look out over the Gulf, Dubai Marina and Bluewaters with Ain Dubai. The 34 sea facing villas each have a private pool, a garden and a three car garage.
Balqis Residence suits buyers who want a full resort lifestyle in a completed community, with a private beach and beach club, several pools including a lap pool, a spa, tennis and basketball courts and a kids' clubhouse.
