About Suburbia
DAMAC built Suburbia through its subsidiary DAMAC Crown Properties between April 2010 and March 2013, to a design by Architecture & Planning Group. That makes it the established address of Downtown Jebel Ali, more than a decade older than the Azizi, Reportage and Samana towers rising around it.
The towers have a Moroccan inspired facade with bright colours and geometric patterns, linked by podium level walkways. Propsearch gives one bedroom flats of about 623 to 1,021 sq ft and two bedroom units of about 1,123 to 1,615 sq ft, and the complex also has studios and three and four bedroom duplexes. Residents share a pool with a sun terrace, a gym, a spa and a children's play area.
Suburbia is a steady rental building, with 247 Ejari contracts and 46 sales in the last 12 months; about two thirds of the sales were one bedroom homes. The free zone gates are a few minutes away by car and the Red Line is about a kilometre to the north.
