Azizi Developments began building Mina in July 2016 and completed it in 2021 on a beachfront plot of the East Crescent, beside Anantara The Palm. Mina's long white lines of balconies and large windows are designed to evoke a cruise liner moored on the Crescent. Nearly 70% of the site is given to landscaped gardens, pools and leisure space, including an infinity pool and a children's pool, and residents walk straight onto a private beach. The apartments look across the Gulf to the Dubai skyline, the Burj Al Arab and Atlantis.
